Announcement for Fijet Academy for Young Journalists Program 2025
We are excited to announce the upcoming Fijet Academy for Young Journalists Program, a 5-day residential training course scheduled to take place from July 18th to 23rd, 2025. This intensive program is specially designed for aspiring and early-career journalists between the ages of 20 and 35 who are passionate about travel writing and tourism journalism. The program will be hosted in the historic imperial city of Fes, Morocco.

The program will be hosted in the historic imperial city of Fes, Morocco. Known for its rich cultural heritage, Fes provides the perfect backdrop for young journalists to enhance their knowledge and skills in tourism journalism.

Comfortable Accommodation for Participants
Our attendees will be comfortably hosted in the dormitory of the Private University of Fez in single rooms, each equipped with a private bathroom, for the duration of the program. The accommodation ensures a pleasant and convenient stay, allowing participants to focus on their learning experience.
Curriculum: A Blend of Theoretical and Practical Learning
The program curriculum uniquely combines theoretical learning delivered by distinguished professors with on-site learning through local excursions and sightseeing tours. All academic lectures within the program will be delivered in English, focusing on key aspects of both tourism and journalism.
Main Theme: Sustainability, Authenticity, and Digital Media
This year’s main theme is “Sustainability, Authenticity and Digital Media”, providing timely insights into their critical intersection in contemporary tourism journalism.
